STD (standard) is for an engine that has not been rebored - the original bore size.
Oversizes (+0.25mm, +0.50mm, +1.00mm ...) are for cylinders that have been rebored to that size. Choose the size your engine has been bored to.

Chromium Steel rings are used mainly in the oil control in modern piston engines.
